Have a couple firearms w/o rails I'd like to use for coyote hunting.
TNVC says you can't do it, while hightechredneck specializes in NOD and behind the day scope mounts.
Have seen plenty of videos of people taking yotes w/ NOD behind so not sure what to think and asking for experience from folks already there.
I think I have two options:
The 14 behind the day scope with a quick connect mount; scan w/ the 14 then attach to rifle for shot.
Helmet mount the 14, get some type of adapter to barrel mount a DBAL laser.
Helmet mount and dedicated NV Scope is above my price range.
