Question, I formed my trust in one city in NC, so my existing items are engraved something like this, "Mig1nc Revocable Living Trust, Anytown NC".

If I move from "Anytown NC" to "Anothertown NC", should I continue to engrave new items using the town where my trust was formed, or use the new town where the item will be manufactured?

I do understand that existing items do not need to be engraved again.

I think I know the answer:
You should amend your trust to reflect your new address and use the new address for newly manufactured items.

someone please correct me if I'm wrong - I may need to know this also.

When you engrave the city, state on a Form 1 build, it has nothing to do with your trust.

The statutes say to engrave (iv)In the case of a domestically made firearm, the city and State (or recognized abbreviation thereof) where you as the manufacturer maintain your place of business, or where you, as the maker, made the firearm;

While most people have their home address on the F1, and engraved on the lower, there's actually zero requirement for that to be the case.

The F1 is to make (not manufacture) and register a firearm. That's a one time act. The engraving should be where that was done...information that will never change no matter where you live/move.

If you felt like it, you could legally have 10 registered lowers while living in your current house. You could've driven to the closest 10 cities to attach an upper to each lower for the first time, and have 10 different cities engraved...none of which match your DL or F1. It's literally the place where you're standing when you assemble it, which is a bit of info the ATF could never really disprove.

I really want to drive up to Lizard Lick to assemble one of mine, just because.
