Hey there. So hypothetically, let's say that I'm about to sell a pistol with someone that lives in North Carolina, while I live in Tennessee. If we both agreed to meet up at an FFL within North Carolina to physically do a transfer and transaction there, would that be perfectly fine or do I have to ship it to the FFL instead?

You can meet at the NC FFL to do the transfer in person. I live in NC and did the same with an SC FFL to sell to a guy there. It only needs to be handled between multiple FFLs if it's going to be shipped.

I’m sure someone will chime in but I didn’t think a guy in SC. Could buy a pistol from ffl in NC. I didn’t think he could transfer them .

Seller is from TN, buyer from NC. Seller can meet buyer at FFL in NC to do the transfer.

Sorry if my comment was confusing. I said that I sold the pistol to the guy in SC via an SC FFL, not an NC FFL. I was just using that as an example to explain that he can sell to a guy in NC via an NC FFL. :)
