If this ban that Obama will discuss tomorrow when might it go into affect? Will it be immediate? Or will it still need to be voted on or what may happen? I just trying to figure out if this would be an immediate thing or would it be a set date that it could go into effect.

Executive branch is pretty limited... I'm sure he will talk about tougher penalties for violating existing laws, etc. You won't get an outright ban today.
