so i need some food grade barrels. i want to start collecting rain water. anyone know of any locally? im in wnc and willing to travel a little distance but want to keep it pretty close. so any hints is appreciated. thanks.

Check out your local coke or pepsi plant. They will pretty much give them away but you have to clean them. When I get them they either still have alot of corn syrup in them or the syrup for coke or cherry coke still in them.

Hopefully someone closer can help, but I think there is a place on 221 on the north side of Marion that I've seen them at. Check Iwanna and craigslist too. There is a guy down near Denver that sells 275 gallon caged containers for $50. He's on the side of Hwy 16 below Buffalo Shoals IGA. Kind of a drive though.
