I cannot believe I've reloaded for almost 20 years without something like this.
I hate trimming brass more than any other step. I hate it so much I was ready to order a Giraud trimmer for .223. $450 seemed reasonable to stop the pain. I came to my senses and ordered the RCBS 3-way cutter. After a few minutes of tweaking the adjustments, I am convinced it is the best $45 I have ever spent. The second best $$ I spent was for the adapter to use my drill on the Case Pro trimmer from a forum member. Unfortunately, I cleaned out my PMs and cannot recall that person's ID.
Now it takes 2-3 seconds to get the proper length, chamfer the neck and get rid of the ring (doughnut) that inevitably formed on the outside of the neck of .223 brass.
Yet another reason all of the gear on my bench comes in green plastic cases.
