Have a Glock 19 I am looking at. Is 3rd generation black with normal holster wear on slide. I've seen asking prices for used g19 as high as retail at gander/Hyatt in the classifieds and was wondering if anyone actually gets those prices for a used Glock with 3mags. What would you REALLY pay for a used Glock 19 w 3 mags?

Since holster wear doesn't bother me, it would have to be completely shiny or slid down a driveway to really give me pause.

    A used G19 Gen 3 w/ 3 mags? I feel like $400-$450 is appropriate depending on condition.

May be naive but I am of the thought process that a weapon with holster wear has proven reliable enough to the owner to carry/train with. Haven't personally heard of an unreliable Glock but I feel the wear Is a good sign in my book. I also don't tend to buy barbecue guns. Although the new kimber micro9 has my attention. That's as close to pretty as I need. I want to shoot it. Not put it in a box over the fireplace

This would be what I would pay as well. I recently paid $475 for an older production Gen 4 G19 that has the frying pan finish that I prefer. I hate the newer Gen 4 finish.

Close to $400 with any appreciable wear.
If it's within 25% of new, I'll likely pass or buy new.
Mags have value. Sights might. Holsters are unlikely to. Mods will probably keep me away.

Agree that $450 was the fair going rate the last time I was looking to buy.

Cool thanks guys. I'm not one to haggle and don't want to lose my shirt but $400 sounded like a fair price.

I just sold a gen 3 g19 I got in a trade for $425. It had some scratches but it was hardly shot. It took a week or so, but I got my asking price without too much hassle. A g19 at $400 is factory configuration should sell very quickly.

    A gen 3 with 3 mags, I'd say would be $425/450 easy.

^^^ This^^^ ! Personally, I refuse to pay 500 for a Glock. Folks can ask whatever they want to, and I support that. But, it's a Glock and I carry them because they still function after getting dinged. It's not a Wilson; but I'm not using a Wilson as my EDC either. If I want a Cadillac, I'll buy a Cadillac; but never drive it if it rains. I know all about "supply vs demand" and "whatever the market bears...", but I'm still not paying 500 for a Glock or 400 for an SKS; same principle.

If you go to a standard gunstore I would expect to see around 450 or so. Give or take sights and other things. Sometimes cheaper in the private market. Add 25-50 dollars for a gen 4.
