My kids are grown and therefore I have an extra bedroom (or two). I finds that the temperature controlled environment of an interior room works great for reloading. I use a Lee progressive for pistol rounds and a single stage for rifle rounds. 36" should be adequate for reloading, especially if you can stay organized (and don't use me as an example).
