Okay - all you guys who seem to live for criticizing the moderators: Could we hear some props on this one? Most of you seem to have been asking for this change.

It will be interesting to see if this makes all the great deals happen again. You know, the deals that everyone remembers but supposedly disappeared when we couldn't reply in the B/S/T section?

Also, those of you who "lost" deals because you couldn't reply to a post, please make sure you post when you still lose deals, even though your reply was "first."

Actually (and I was one of those complainers if not the main one) this is what the no reply rule did (to me YMMV)....
1) Posting an "I'll take it" is much faster than PMing same.
2) PMing an I'll take it takes longer to get confirmed by the seller.
3) Let's say there's more than one very good deal that I'm interested in, but I can only afford one of them....time wasted by PMing could cause me to miss all of them.

Trust me, I do (or did) a LOT of BST, and I had it down to a science that worked for me. The whole PM thing just became so irritating that I lost interest.
So now things are back the way that I prefer, let's see if the economy will let me take advantage of it.

Read the rules. You're supposed to EDIT your original post to clarify things or answer questions. This let's you get the info posted without getting a free early bump.

When you answer the question by editing your original post, it keeps folks from checking out your ad, only reading the original post, and asking the same question.
You'd be surprised how often that happens.
