B4C0B0B9-FB49-4037-9828-9AC30B4AC398.jpeg Hello fellas! I recently acquired this AK variant rifle from a family member. I will admit I am not up to speed on this type of rifle. I was hoping that some of the more informed members could shed some light on what I have exactly. It appears as though the rifle is 922 compliant. Trigger, muzzle device and hand grip are all Tapco. I am only guessing that this is Romanian. It really doesn't have a makers name. Any and all info would be appreciated(value, maker, origin, etc). Thanks- mackman77

It is a Romy kit on a home build. Screw builds where popular 2000 and late (2006-2009) . They where easier than rivets. If you look under the muzzle it is likely a chrome bore.

It is a chrome bore, yes. Any idea of a fair market value, as is?

I have been looking at prices for these recently, to sell not buy. Rifles similar on gunbroker for around $850-950 but no bids. Need to see a sale for a better idea. Since it's a parts gun (possibly Century arms receiver,) yours would be less than the selling price for factory guns. May be a factory gun, but you would have to show markings, numbers etc. My guestimate would be 700-800.

It would be worth more if it was still in its parts
