Gentlemen and lady’s , I have just come into possession of a lightly used Smith 1086, 10 mm DAO. No box, no papers but lightly used, less than 50 rounds. Dead night sites but otherwise it looks new.
I have no idea of the value but want some considered opinions regarding it.
I will try to post a pic if I can figure it out.
    Thanks in advance. A617CA00-3919-435E-A0C7-C27855BFC382.jpeg

    Very unusual gun!!!!

As you’ve probably already discovered, there are no active listings or recent sales on GB. There were only 1,660 of them made and, since they’re all 30ish years old, no telling how many still exist. For whatever it’s worth, the SCSW lists the values as:
    NIB $1,000
    Excellent 800
    Very Good 650.

I had one with one mag in good used condition that I sold back in 2016 for $950. I had the chance to buy another one in late 2019 with 3 mags for $1k but ended up passing on it. The mags alone for these bring $100 plus. I'd say depending on how many mags you have with yours the value should be anywhere from $1200-$1400 and maybe even more to the right person.

Gunlover is spot on with the price.

Mags could be “built”, when Numrich had the tubes, for less than $60. None in stock now.

    Buckaroo, didn’t I sell you a Model 63 a few years ago?

I bought this 1086 a few months back.

That’s a generous offer but I think I will hold on to it till ammo comes down!
