What are you all using on your .22s

It's not a 22, but I have a nice Bushnell on my Savage 917, and the 17HMR is a zesty little booger! It'll do 1" at 150yds with VERY little effort. I have repeatedly hit a 4" steel plate at ~250 yds....

In fact, none of my 22's have scopes...LOL

I must be doing something right....my boys prefer iron over glass!!

I would like to pick up a nice 22WMR rfle nd scope it. I think Savage makes one like my 17, but in 22 mag. I think it even uses the same magazine.....

I have a Bushnell Sportview 3-9x40 on my Marlin 60. I still need to zero it in, I had a smaller Tasco on it and decided to go a little bigger.

On my Anschutz benchrest gun I run a 45x Leupold competition

On my Browning T-Bolt I run a Leupold FX-III 6X42

I have a thing for fixed power scopes. I don't own any variable power scopes. IMO fixed power scopes are an order of magnitude brighter than variables. And I'm a Leupold man. The only two scopes I own that are not Leupold is an ACOG and an IOR Valdada and they too are fixed power.

I put a wal-mart special on my Ruger 10/22. Works GREAT. Unless you're really into custom builds, I'd say you're better off with a trigger improvement than spending lots of $$$ on glass for a 10/22...

I have a Mueller 4.5-14 on my 10/22 and a Nikon Monarch 4-16 on my Savage FV-SR. When you look through them and need to adjust for various ranges, it is easy to see why the Nikon cost 4 times as much as the Mueller. With that said, I am very happy with the "budget" minded Mueller and wouldn't hesitate to get another.

I'm a big fan of the Nikon Prostaff scopes for the $$.

Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 BDC on my Savage MK-f
Nikon 4x32 Prostaff on my Marlin 795
Burris Fullfield II 2-7x33 on my Ruger 10/22TD

I have several rimfires that are not scoped right now. Thinking about a 2-7x32 for my 39A. Not sure what I'm going to do with several of the Model 60's I have or the Winchester 270 pump. I sold all the "cheaper" scopes I had and now my goal is put nicer glass on the ones just mentioned. I know the Prostaffs and the above listed ones are sub $200 but for the price I don't think they can be beat for clearness of the glass.

Great thread OP.

I like that stock on your Marlin 795, ilivas! Did you have to do any mods? Cutting involved? A web link? TY

OP, sorry to highjack your thread.
I had to trim the area around the trigger guard area. It wasn't too bad. I had to trace out the trigger guard and use a router, but a chisel works very well also.
