Wait....there are "gangs" in Omaha fricken Nebraska?!?! What is our country coming to?!
[off]
I hate to be the one to take the macho Rambo stance, but F the gang bangers. They're not pushing me out of my town. Mail 'em a copy of one of Bronson's Death Wish DVDs.
Yes, I'm serious.
It's when the good people give up that the world/state/county/city/neighborhood goes to crap.
If gangs listened to parents their would be far less gangs, probably no gangs. When this is over, Mr McCullough needs to find a new state to call home. All 3 are (were) known gang members. Even though, according to the second article the dead guys parents have made a plea for no retaliation. Right, the local gang members will listen to this.
A lot depends on the gang. All gangs are not created equal, and the term gang affiliation is often over used. That's not to say there would not be any retaliation, it's just to say, all gangs are not as organized and violent as the ones on TV. Many are just a bunch of baggy pant punks that are a menance to society much like in the past before the term "Gang" became so prevelant. They would have been just called a bunch of punk thugs back then. Considering the one guy had an empty gun trying to rob a drug store, I'd be willing to bet this is the "less scary" gang, i.e bangy pants punks thugs wanna be's. They are probably more afraid of him than he is of them. This guy needs to move a few thousand miles away. As the song goes, Know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run. What he did seems completely justifiable. Especially the round that went up the barrel, nice shot. However punks are punks, when this blows over and he is cleared for a justifiable shoot I hope he has somewhere else to call home.
Sounds like the East Harnett Crips or whatever those scumbag idiots in Dunn are calling themselves now. They have one old S&W .32 top break and one Lorcin .25 between them, and only bullets for the .25. But to hear em talk dey sum bayud azzes. :tongue:A lot depends on the gang. wow, one bullet in the barrell of the shotgun, what are the odds?
And this is also how and why point shooting works. What you fix your eyes on is what you aim at, generally. In close it can work very well. If you can hard focus on the chest, that's where the rounds will be going. If you hard focus on the gun, same thing. Odd's are probably still astronomical that you put one in the barrel though.People will often become fixated on weapons being pointed at them with their shots striking the weapon or weapon-bearing limb
