Anyone in the Triad have a sight pusher that will work on a Sig P228? The last time I needed night sights installed I paid the local gun shop to do it and they butchered up my slide and said " Oh did we do that???" So needless to say they haven't got any of my return business. I will gladly buy you lunch or Supper or....? I just ordered the TFO's today so it may be after Christmas before I actually get them. I would certainly appreciate it. Send me a PM if you can help or know of a shop that actually knows what they are doing and can help me.

Does any of the local law enforcement carry Sigs in Mayberry or Surry County? If so, someone with the department will have one and may let you use it or change them for you. Years ago when I lived in VA (just north of you), I borrowed a Glock tool from the Carroll County Sheriff's Department.

No they are stuck with S&W, I think the PD may be using Glocks now not sure. But I doubt they will let me use it, if they had one. But I appreciate the thought.

I have a universal sight pusher that has worked for every gun type I've tried it on, and you're welcome to stop by the house and use it -- I'm not too interested in loaning it to someone I don't know. (I live in Winston-Salem.)

I bought mine from Brownell's, using my C&R FF license -- it was under $100 with THAT discount, and I've used it many, many times. Well worth the expenditure.

Hey Walt, I'm a Sig guy and have quite a few. Will that pusher work on Sig's?

I've only used mine on a 239. (But I think the dovetails are the same on most of them, and frames are similar.) Can't be sure until I try -- but I suspect it'll work.
