Silencer transfer help

I live on Monroe Nc but work close to the city. Does anyone know a place in the area that does silencer transfers. I only find one place and he wanted $200 to transfer and do the paper work. Any help would be great.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but are you sure he communicated that well and is actually charging a $200 fee on top of the $200 tax?

Yeah,
$200 to do the paperwork is VERY HIGH.

However, if that includes the Tax Stamp, that you must buy to win a suppressor, then he is basically doing the paperwork for free...

 

I am 100% sure. I thought maybe it was just me and I was tired so I asked him 2 different times. Was told by said place $200 for tax stamp and $200 to help with paper work and file it. I told the guy he was crazy he then said that is why we recommend we to buy from them and not have is transfer.
I have had a ton of stuff transfer around just not silencers. They guys was just trying to make a sale.

I have heard really good things about Tar Heel State Firearms and that from members of this board.
