Used but almost new cz hammer classic 12g. Bought this for SASS but want to get something shorter. The action is still stiff. No markings on it whatsoever. Has all choke tubes and box. Will trade for hammer coach gun in 12g.

    $750

    Meet near Asheville

Have you considered having the barrels shortened? One advantage is that you can pick the length.

Chrome bore. Black chrome exterior. Very hard to cut clean and then ream for chokes again... and... $$$$$

    He's on the right path.

Thought of that, I didn't want it to look like a hack job, pun intended

Not trying to argue but SKBs have chromed bores and they are routinely bobbed for use in competition.

If you want screw in chokes, I can see not cutting the tubes. All of my CAS shotguns are cylinder bore but some folks like to have choke tubes.

Are you a new shooter? Come to our “intro day” in Greenville SC on December 26. Go to www.greenvillegunfighters.com for info.

No thanks. I'm a terrible fit for CAS/SASS shooting.

I personally don't care to have choke tubes that's not the issue by not wanting the barrels cut on this gun. The issue is it's in like new condition. I'd rather cut up a beater rather than a nice looking gun that could be used for all sorts of shooting.

I PMed him, too. Maybe he's sick and if so I wish him well. Maybe he's just rude not answering (I wanted to buy the hammer shotgun) if so I'll remember his screen name.

I'd love to have it. It's every bit priced right. Hope it has a nice home soon.

    I'll take it
I did get a PM in response (thank you) and wrote that I'd drive to him now or meet him after his planned trip if that was best for him.

Very nice shotgun. Didn't have enough in my stash to buy it. I'll see another one sometime in the future. Happy for you Odessa.
