Here in the south ( I know North Carolina is about mid way) whole hog BBQ is a staple for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, funerals, tailgating. Heck,...some times we just have "pig pickins" just because we feel like grilling a hog. Also here on the east coast ACC Football is huge. Lots of people get season tickets for "their" team. One of the Assistant principals here at school is one of those people. He tailgates at every home football game at North Carolina State University....GO WOLFPACK!!! I am a little biased. My wife and I both graduated from NCSU. We have told our kids we don't care what degree they get or what 4 year university they attend as long it is at NC State.
Anyway....My boss came up with a tailgating rig he wanted. An all inclusive mobile storage, cooking, hauling system. The rack in the back is for meat and beverage coolers, a pop up tent, two folding tables, chairs, and other tailgating supplies. So my students and I built it. I decided to embellish it just a bit. He was tickled when he saw it.
I have a CNC plasma cutter and decided to program some collegiate support for the rear end. I also programmed a set of fenders for it. They have the NCSU "Block S" logo cut out of the fender. After it was all painted red, a white backing plate was bolted to the underside so that the white would shine through.
I still have some things I want to do to it, but ran out of time for this week. He plans to debut it at a home game tomorrow.
Anyway...even though it is not firearm related I thought I would show it off. GO WOLPACK!!!!
