Uhhh. A little soul searching turned up little to no feelings of sympathy for the cop. What ever the chick did, she already had cuffs on. No need to use deadly force (tasers have caused deaths before).

Bitch spit in his face, what are you supposed to do, stand there, smile and take it??? A spit in the face is assault, who knows what she is carrying as far as pathogens are concerned. Don't be a stupid drunk bitch and don't spit in a cops face, you probably won't get tasered.

If she had spit in my face, I would have tased her as well. More than once. Only problem I see is he was dumb enough to tote an ass whooping while carrying a taser and firearm, (I assume). People on this site are leaning farther to the left every day. I'm not a cop, but have close friends who are. It's a mean game.

It's not to the far left we are leaning. It's to the more Liberty minded standpoint. Government forces are looking at the landscape of America through the eyes of a warlord [or warlard if he's fat] and making judgment calls based on those biased viewpoints.

Liberty is under attack literally - just look to the rancher in Nevada pleading for America to stand with him.

Umm... I'll go with "F that pig for $100 Alex". There was no excuse for using less lethal force against a handcuffed woman. It would be akin to pulling out his ASP (if he carries one) and cracking her in the knee. Nothing more than physical punishment for her actions which is assault. Karma can be a real bitch.

You're fucking kidding right? So you swing from the nuts of LEO and claim we're leaning left? Get a clue man.

I didn't know a tazer could magically remove spit from someone's face after it happened.

Is the purpose of LE to be vindictive and punish based on personal feelings of being wronged, or to apply the law fairly?

A tazer is potentially deadly. Would you shoot someone who spit on you?

He tasered her simply to get even. Plain and simple. After tasering her, he put her right back where she was. If his intent was to stop her, he would have bagged her.

If someone spits on me, I'd like to taser them but I take the high road. Yo can't argue that the LEO pictured tried to stop her, he wanted to make her pay for it. If he wanted to stop her, he would have isolated her or put her in a spit mask. Both the "woman" and the officer were equally sadistic IMHO.

I'm glad you aren't a cop, you lack the self control.

It does not appear that she even hit him with any spit, he shows no sign of recoiling like most people would when struck with a loogie.

As others have stated he should have taken the high road, fix her up with a spit mask.

I got a pretty good clue about you, but I'll show some restraint and keep it to myself. The left comment is meant to all those who have the "I or we are a victim" mentality. My opinion is that he was just reminding her who was in control of the situation. What about the fact that she was handcuffed in the police department and spit on the cop? Where was her control? I watched the video again and listened to the guy from the ACLU, now there's a crowd we should all look up to. Bottom line, if she didn't spit she wouldn't have gotten tased. Have some fucking respect for a change, or at least act like an adult living in America.

If police brutality is reminding someone who's in charge then yes by all means you're correct.

I give respect where it is due. You don't deserve any from me. The LEO who felt the need to taser a woman handcuffed deserves no respect.

No trigger happy cop that makes poor decisions no taser. I'm not defending the woman spitting on the cop but rather trying to point out the absurdity of a cop tasing a detainee that is cuffed.

20 years ago I would have said the ACLU was one of the biggest things wrong with America. The recent trend in the way police are interacting with the public has caused me to change my opinion a little about the ACLU. Guess that makes me a soft, left leaning liberal.
