Anyone have one of these? If so how are they? Looking for a fun plinker. I know its not a S&W but its not 700 dollars either so what say you.

I had one and I'm more of a fan of Taurus revolvers than most people.
The trigger was terrible.
I stoned it inside, smoothed contact points, put in wolf springs.
still terrible.

Are you looking new or used? Here's one I bought in 1993 when I couldn't afford a S&W model 63. I put a Wolff spring set in it and it's been great. My advice is find one of this vintage, and put in a Wolff spring set like I did. I still haven't bought that S&W model 63!

Nice Revolver Lou.

I recently ordered a Wolff Spring kit for my Model 94 and the rebound spring is too long to be used without cutting off coils. I installed the 9LB mainspring and need to get it to the range to see how it runs. I also did a complete stone and polish job so hopefully I will have a keeper.

I inherited a couple of Taurus revovlers when my Dad died some years ago. They were OK.

I later picked up a 94 in a trade. The Taurus 94 is a pretty little gun but, as noted above, has a horrible trigger. Calling that trigger "horrible" is understatement. And gunsmiths apparently can't do much with it.

I traded the 94 (and some cash) at a pawn shop for a very nice .22 rifle ). I think I did better on that trade than the pawn shop did. I recently sold the rifle for a nice profit.

That line from the movie "The Fly" seems appropriate: "Be afraid, be very afraid..."
