Looking to ad a binary trigger to a 22lr. Considering a lightweight aluminium tensioned barrel. It's a hammer forged and tapered barrel with aluminum friction fit sleeve...
Would it be better at handling heat than a regular barrel or a bull barrel?

Two pieces of metal fitted together, whatever the means, will not heat evenly and by doing so will not enhance accuracy. Those sleeved barrels are gimmick to lighten your wallet. There are plenty of high grade barrels for sale on the market and none are cheap so ask around, review the reviews and then ask those that win matches what they are shooting. Most times a certain name or two will be at the forefront of the discussion, good luck.

I have a tactical solutions aluminum barrel. Heat does not cause poi shifts. I am not shooting full auto levels. Aluminum will transfer heat really well.
