Son also gave me a Mumford & Sons. The Mumford cd is titled "Babel". The Avett Brothers is titled "The Carpenter". They are both very good. I listen to every tune on both of them. Got to check out the other groups that were recommended.

That's their most recent albums. I haven't found a song on "Babel" that I don't like. My wife listens to the Avett Brothers more than me, not that I don't like them. Just hooked on Mumford and Sons right now.

I also listen to some Ray La Montagne. His "Gossip In The Grain" and "Till The Sun Turns Black" cds have some good tunes on them. I don't like all of them, but some of them stand out to me.

Pandora got me the Avett Brothers on some similarity to something I had listened too. Mumford & Sons was an easy follow for Pandora after giving the Avett Brothers the "thumbs up."

Love the stuff up to Emotionalism. The newer stuff does nothing for me.

I saw them once early on and it was a fantastic show.

If any of you are "hell on wheels" fans, the season one episode entitled "Timshel" has a Mumford & sons song thru-out the opening.

I especially like The Avett Brothers song "I don't want to be in love like the movies". :D
