"Hey...look at that freakishly huge anaconda in the water! Get me closer so I can grab it!"

In my younger days, I could see myself being dumb enough to mess with the snake, but as soon as it brushed against the boat, I'd have lost control of my innerds. That's medical talk for "poo control."

A friend and I were playing with a manatee on the St. Johns River one day from a canoe. It finally had enough of us and decided to dive deeper. One strong flick of its huge tail rocked the canoe and smacked the underside of it. At that point, I decided we were a little too close for comfort (ours...not its). On that same canoe trip, we were lucky enough to spot a mama gator sitting on a nest of eggs...which we just had to mess with too. Thankfully we kept our distance with that one, but she didn't like us smacking the water with our paddles. She split the ~30 yards between us in the blink of an eye. I've yet to see any other man-powered canoe get up on plane like we did!

Look,

I do not mess with stuff like this. That snake was chillin on the river side. I would of left him chillin on that side, or any other side. I do not take a ore or a stick and poke stuff like that.

Yeah but are you really sure you wouldn't want to poke a snake, that had a "knot" in his belly aboooooout the size of a human? I mean that sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity :D

If anyone I know is not missing I would let it ride.

not worth my time man. Hell how dumb do you have to be to get eaten by one of these things? not all people are worth saving anyhow.
