Verizion cellular voice is down out here in Zebulon. I haven't made it home to see if TWC is operational.

Somebody posted on Twitter that a major TWC carrier line was cut. YMMV

fine for the moment, but its been crap for the last few weeks. modem has been up and down, i thought it was crapping out so i bought a new one.

I've heard AT&T who controls the land lines got hacked causing poor data and connections the last several weeks.

 

Had a problem with TV early in the xay, but... have been expecting a delivery since 3:00 and it is now 7:00pm, perhaps this is the problem.

 

That's pretty sad for a company that is touting backup power generators on their cell towers, to loose a huge chunk of one state for ONE cable slice. And the effects were being felt here in Cumberland County. Was trying to call my buddy who is on Verizon and was getting drops/ "circuits busy " / similar messages.

 

I bet it was google laying fiber down lol

 

Pretty sad considering it was developed as a system that is supposed to be multiply redundant. Then that was before it became a commercial product operated by for profit corporations.
