The USO is made in China. The Tenmile in Japan. Dont know if either of those are a factor for you. I can attest personally for the customer service at USO as I bout my first USO FDN last year and they have been nothing short of amazing with putting up with all my questions, requests and screw ups. Ive heard nothing bad about the Trijicon Ten mile that I know of but also dont have any first hand experience with them. Being made in Japan I would say there is a good chance they are produced by LOW (Light Optical Works) who make several big name scopes like Sig Saur and such. My experience with these scopes have been very good as well. Just killed two deer in less than 30 seconds last week with my .243 using the Sig BDX 4.5-14. The USO TS line is made in China but goes through USO's quality control which according to "Cyclops" on youtube is 2nd to none, and I have to agree now after dealing with them for over a year. Dont know if any of this helps buy you have now been enlightened by my years of useless knowledge.

If youre looking in the $1000 range and at USO. You could also look at the USO Foundation Series lower magnification scopes. 100% made in North Carolina. Even the machining. Glass is combination of German/Japan. All high end. Amazing quality and customer service. Im in LOVE with my FDN 25x wich is a much higher price point, however the lower magnification scopes are more reasonable with the same quality and components and Kayleigh in customer service is awesome. Lifetime, no questions asked garuntee. Drop it out of a tree or run over it with your truck and its completely cover. Labor, parts, everything 100%.

I'll second the Foundation line, but plan on well over 2 grand for one. I'd put them in a tad higher class than 10 mile or TS.
I'm building a mid level 1000 yard+ 338 NM and the FDN 25x is a high probability on this build.

My FDN 25x is my favorite scope ever. They are the only company that I know of that still produce true IPHY "In Per Hundred Yard" scopes. If you know long range shooting, you know what difference that can make. Makes my adjustments so much faster and easer. And.....American.
