High five, I just said the same thing.now i want one, do they roll coal?
HAte to hear that man. VW sales have been on the rise. Makes one wonder if this isn't an administrative move...the government DOES have 80 billion tied up in American car companies thanks to the Obama and Bush administrations. All I know is this couldn't have come at a worse time for me. If you look at my previous posts, I'd been having trouble with my 2013 VW Jetta. Those issues were resolved under warranty but it expires in under 2k miles. Not sure how or why but when the dealership replaced the rack and power steering in my car, my MPGs went back to normal: 42mpg.
Even then, I looked around this past weekend and looked into trading the jetta for an Infiniti g37 sedan because I just don't trust the jetta's longevity. I was offered a pittance for it on trade in due to the VW news. Dealers are afraid they won't be able to sell them if they take TDI in trade. I guess now I'm stuck with a car I did not want to keep and that will more than likely suffer on fuel efficiency and/or power after they figure out a "fix" to comply with epa requirements.
