I had a Ferrari when I was younger. If I remember correctly, I destroyed it with a firecracker. However it was my favorite.

Probably still have it with my older toys. Think the hood became detached.

Wish I had kept ahold of it. That thing would go anywhere as long as you were in no hurry.

Well dang it. I completely forgot about my 81 CJ 7. I miss that damn thing more than any other car I have ever owned. It was
Hot and rusty and slow as hell with the 4 cyl 80's engine but man was it cool.

 

I had a '74 Pinto in high school. Hedman headers, 390cfm Holley 4bbl, Offenhauser intake, Iskenderian cam. There were several V8's in the county that were highly embarrassed by that little four-banger.

I happened to see a GT40 on the road a few weeks ago. That thing looks wild, so low it looked like anyone over 5'6" couldn't sit in it.

 

One of my cool ones was a 72 Datsun 240Z. Fun to drive and a little unique back then.

 

72 SS-454 Chevelle. The tire dealers loved me back then.

 

I'd still like to have one of those.

 

Either the '74 Karman Ghia (loved to go, hated to stop!), or the '72 Gran Torino. '68 Fury was a very close 3rd.

Dad had a Datsun 1600 when we were in MI. It was the first car I "drove" -- sat in his lap and steered while he worked the pedals!! Great memory. Thanks for the reminder.

My dad had a purple '74 when I was born. Swore he was going to be buried in it. Ended up giving it away as a door prize at a church function. (May or may not have been rigged to give it to a guy that needed a car)

I was part owner of a 1967 Olds 442 Hurst edition. That's where I learned not to go in on a vehicle.

Then I was the proud owner of a 1972 charger with 400 magnum.

 

The only car I ever had that approached cool was a 90 Integra. I had way more fun driving that than I should have. Trading it in 06 for a minivan (4 kids) was a sad day.

 

I've had a bunch. The 2 that I miss most are '66 Chevelle Super Sport and a '55 Chevy Nomad. Then there were '55 & '56 Chevys, 3 different '62 Impalas, '66 Chevy II, '69 GTO, and on and on.
