Weird how time changes your perspective. I’ve had multiple of each. Corvettes,Cameron’s trans am, mustang, Chevelles and GTO’s and a few hot rod trucks.Never likes the looks of Mopar stuff) Never really regret selling any of them. In the end, they are just modes of transportation. We are at a time in our life where we could afford any car within reason. I really like my beat up 15 Scion XB. Not planning on replacing it unless it blows up. Getting ready to hit a 100k and I’m hoping to get 200k more out of.

Sold the Callaway convertible and picked this one up. A 2007 Ron Fellows Edition Z06 #222. Took it to the tuner , put long tube headers, CNC ported heads, intake, and dyno tuned. On the stock cam it puts down 510RWHP. Super nice , low mileage car. Love it.

My 1968 Chrysler Newport was a cool sled. I would have loved to keep it, but it was too big to fit in my garage!

I had a '68 300, similar concave body panels. K8 440. Very cool, but in the late 70's drank way too much gas for a kid commuting to college and working on a dairy farm. Sold it and bought a Volvo 142....bit of a difference in the passing lane.

BUT, my fastest was the Mopar
'72 Challenger

In my younger days, I bought a 70 challenger 340 from the local funeral director's son. My knee when through the side of the rusty front fender while leaning over to adjust the timing. Unfortunately, I just couldn't afford a good one back then. Floor pans leaked so bad stuff grew in the carpet on the passenger's side. Definitely not my coolest car.

These days I still long for Mopar muscle, but kinda like the wind in my hair - what little I have left. I'm waiting for FCA to build a ragtop Challenger...

I took a 30 minute ride in a friends '21 Torch Red Z51 hardtop convertible. I was impressed with how quiet the ride was and how smooth it rode. He had it in tour mode so I am sure that made a difference but you could easily daily drive it. A 7 month wait to get it though. Yikes !
