Coolest car? Depends on what you wanted to do with it. Toughest vehicle I ever owned was my FJ40 Land Cruiser, it would go places you couldn't walk and wouldn't want to try. Bought it new in 1976, had it on top of Shortoff Mtn half a dozen times before Wolf Pit trail was closed to vehicles. Crossing Linville River:

Kinda depends on the observer, but by far, I get the most comments and thumbs-up when I'm driving this:

Loved the old Wagoneers. Much cooler than the new ones. Can remember when the old ones with that awful AMC 360 could be bought, in great condition, for a couple thousand bucks. Today, much sought after - take a look at the asking prices in Hemmings. Nice Jeep!
