whats best outdoor Shooting ranges in Upstate S.C area

Ok.I got about 3 outdoor shooting ranges w/in probably 25-30 miles of me..Spartanburg practical gun club... low fee's..Polk county gun club..expensive. and Skip J range.. furtherest out of all them.. but good fee prices..any experiences or anymembers on these?..If I was rich Id just be member on them all.. but NOT HAPPENING.btw.. soon to be member of Allen Arms indoor range on Poinsett hwy when they open

It sort of depends on what kind of shooting you want to do. I know more about the Spartanburg one than all the others, besides the fact that the Polk Co. Gun Club is expensive (the reason I chose to shoot at a range in Lake Lure which is 15 minutes from Polk Co. Gun Club). The Lake Lure range is the Asheville Practical Shooting Association http://apsagunclub.tripod.com

Anyway, I have been meaning to make it out to the Spartanburg range one of these days because I shoot USPSA and wanted to try their range out.

SPSA is a pistol only range (MIGHT allow 22rf rifle and shotty) No rifles.

5 or 6 bays of 25 yards

Some steel plates to shoot at, and a bucha different types of barricades for IDPA - type practice.

They run both IDPA nad IPSC matches.

Lotsa good folks at these matches.

Worth the entry fee.
