Wahoo95....what time you gonna be there. Would like to come down just to say hello and thanks for help by you (and others) in choosing an Ar15. Finally got word last evening that my kit has shipped. Since shipping was only $8, I figure it'll be here next week.

 

I'll be there early....bring some ammo and you can shoot my rifle since yours hasn't arrived yet.

9am...shooting will likely start around 9:30-ish.
Four stages of 10-20 targets...cardboard, steel, moving targets, plates, etc.
$10 to shoot.
Approximate round counts: 100 rifle, 50 pistol, 25 shotgun (bring a box of slugs just in case).

If you're torn between PHA and this one, flip a quarter! They're both great matches with great people.

Saturday there is a Zombie match/IDPA Classifier/USPSA classifier at "The Range" in Oxford.

Sunday is the Fun Match at Oxford as well. If you havent shot a fun match, you need to, its a blast!

If you can safely handle a loaded handgun, don't just watch, give it a try! You can start each stage at the low ready if you do not have a holster.

Send me a PM if you don't have a short barreled gun. I may know someone that can lend you a j-frame.

Yes, you will absolutely need to bring your own ammo. Also, be prepared get hooked on competitive shooting! Its a blast!
