Maybe this one has been done, I wasn't able to find it quickly if so. If it does exist already, DELETE this one and STICKY the other:p.

People have got some wild user names on here, and some not so wild. How/where did yours come from?

SNAL....a nickname handed to me by a large group of Harley folks way back in 1999. We all met ftf for the first time on a weekend ride (part of a Sportster owner's group online). Instantly hit it off, and we all remain very close friends today.
Anyway, before the weekend was over, the nicknames started being handed out. Mine was "SNAL" (Skinny-No-Ass-Larry)...and it stuck.

mine should be obvious.........

Actually I used another username on various message boards (non-firearm related) for a long time. Then one night in the midst of a rather heated discussion on politics and firearms a liberal chick from Australia called me a Ranting *******. And the rest is history.

It is a combination of my two favorite people and the minute the world will end. JIM Beam and BOB Marley. I have by a reliable source information that the world will end on August 24 in the year 2024 at exactly 2024 military time.

It's what the kids at the wilderness camp I worked for called me. John de la Howe School Wilderness Program, McCormick, SC. All the staff went by "chief" and first name. A bit more respectful than first name only, and not as stuffy as Mr and Mrs. It was used in the sense of being the leader of the group. Good times.

Well mine came from when I first started playing airsoft.

Living up in MD and my love of the infamous Blue Crab I was called Mr. Crab for a while. Then after a few airsoft games and my knack for being able to flank an enemy base I started being called Phantom Crab.

Let me get this straight, this does not have to do with an itch you can't get rid of....
