I'm not looking for a highend AR just wondering who has the best deals on them right now. I'm not gonna build one, just thinking about buying another one and haven't seen any deals that looked great.

Best Firearms! But I'm biased as I own the place. We have a Del-Ton DT Sport for $695.00 OTD, A Del-Ton Echo or a Del-Ton Sierra for $769.00 OTD, a PSA for $749 + TAX, our own AR with a Plum Crazy Ploymer Lower with a PSA Hammer Forged Lightweight Uppper and FDE MOE furniture for $979.00 + TAX, several Adcors, Colts, a Stag, a couple of Bushmasters and probably some others. Give us a call or come by. We're open from 9:30a-6:00p Mon-Sat.

Thanks,

Brent

Smith & Wesson M&P 15 or a BushMaster would both be good choices. DPMS is also a good choice though they may be a hundred or two more than the others.

You're asking for High End... what's your budget? What are you looking to do with it....Target,Competition, Home Defense?

I can get you a Daniel Defense, Noveske, or Adams Arms EVO through Carolina Caliber.

If you're looking to go custom board sponsor Warsport can set you up with a really nice custom AR.

Another option is Barnes Precision Machine in Apex.

Thanks guys, I'll have to go handle some and see what I find. I have a Delton and may get another, just looking at my options. Bestfirearms, I may stop in next week since I have to go to Greensboro and may get by to see Wahoo95 if I can figure out where his place is.

That's the dpms sportical. $587 at Wally world here
That's a good deal on the DPMS. I see the Del-Ton mentioned. I don't have any experience with DPMS or Del-ton or any of the budget brands for that matter but it seems people are happy with them. Buds has the Del-Ton DT sport for $628 and the Del-Ton Echo for $700. As always Buds has free shipping and no tax. You do have to pay $20 for a transfer though. I have always had good experiences with Buds. I've ordered probably 8 guns from them in the last 6 months with no problems whatsoever. I don't know why other stores can't match Bud's prices but they seem to always have the best prices.

No my 2¢. Buy a Daniel Defense and make sure what you buy is chambered in 5.56 nato.

Don't buy crap.... You'll regret it.... And there is some crap out there in the M4 world...

It seems like every machine shop decided they could make ar15's in the last few years.

Best budget is s&w, IMO.

Spend some time and surf m4carbine.net before spending.... It'll be worth your time.

+1 it seems everyone and their toothless brother in-law are making AR's now. IMO the quality gets thrown out the window when it comes to the barrel and the fit and finish. But definitely some really crappy barrels (not) floating around out there.

This is just me but I wouldn't buy a Delton or a DPMS. About as low as I'd go would be a Bushmaster.

There are only about 1billion threads on this subject elsewhere... They are fun reading!

Or, I can paraphrase my take on them:

Budget under $1K: Smith M&P or Spikes
$1K - $1200: Colt or BCM
$1300-$1500: DD, Noveske, LMT
Money no object: KAC

Btw, im not trying to infer the other stuff is junk -some is far from it- just talking about best bang vs buck USUALLY.

Wha?????

Perhaps the ones I've used (including those I own) are anomalies.
Just my opinion. I've never owned one. I've never owned a Hi-Point, Jennings, Lorcin, or Bersa either but I put them in the low budget category. Maybe I'm a gun snob lol. I wouldn't tell anyone what to buy; on the contrary I posted where the OP could find the cheapest Del-Ton.
