My wife had shoot an lcp 380, tokarov, lc9 and my M40. She liks my Star M40 the best but not the caliber. She wants a 9mm so i was trying to find a SR9c for her to try. I wouldn't mind her getting the M43 cause she likes my M40 so much, but there is none in the area for her to shoot 1st.

The odd request is- is there anyone near conway, sc that has a SR9c or a similiar 9MM for her to try so I know she will like it.

My wife started out with a SP101 in .357 (she only shot .38's)...but now she much prefers the LCP! I feel better with her having the LCP as well. She shoots it better, no exposed hammer to snag on anything, and for a semi...no safety to "forget about".
I was afraid that "snap" of a .380 in such a small, light, gun would spook her, so I didn't mention that possibility to her at all....she's fired about 100 rounds so far and hasn't mentioned it.

Any respectable gun shop with an indoor or outdoor range will have something similar in 9mm that you could rent. If you were in fayetteville I'd suggest guns plus as I know for certain they have (or had it's been a while) an sr9c for rent.

Something like the new lc9 or Sccy 9 or even a walther in 9mm would have a similar weight and recoil. (Not saying it's the same of course, but similar enough that she might get the idea of whether she wants it or not.)

she wants an all around gun. The main reason is she does massage therapy. She is starting to work more at the beach in resorts and thats the main reason she needs one. She is going to be using the ghost belt in black so it matches her clothing. And she does not have to get it out from under her uniform or out of a holster she can just shoot thru the holster.

I have a SR9c she could shot if you didn't mind driving to Charlotte. I really don't recommend this gun for a women. It has two recoil springs which tame heavy loads very well but makes it hard for most women, and some men, to rack the slide. My wife carries a SP101. If she pulls the trigger and it doesn't go bang she just pulls the trigger again.

My wife had a 686, couldn't shoot it for poo, but then she shot my Ruger p89, at 15 yards she put all 16 rounds in a paper plate the first time. That is her gun now. Doesn't have the knockdown of the 357, but 16 rounds of 9mm on target is better than 6 not on target.

I know she ll like the sig22 or walther p22. that's the next gun I get my ladie if she doesn't like my lc9. And the walther has a suppressor package the rounds are cheap and accurite as hell. Not too loud with no recoil.

We went to the Florence Guns show today. She liked the Bersa thunder 380. My neighbor's friend has one so will be trying it this week. We were hopping to use our basspro shops gift cards we have but they dont carry it. If she likes it may see if local pawn will trade for them. What ya all think about the possability of the trade anyone try it.

I need ideas from women on what they want.
And there stands one of humanity's great understatements ;)

But remember, women are as different in the gun tastes as you and I. My wife can handle my Glock better than me and finds it more comfortable than I do. She also shoots my .357 with no problem. This isn't going to be true of all women, so you might be better off just doing the same as the OP with your missus.
