i will be getting my new hunting rifle in a few weeks. a howa hogue bolt action in 308. my dad gave me a tasco 3-9x40. will this scope hold up to the recoil of the 308? its a cheaper scope ( says $80 on the box). i know the BSA that i had on my blackhawk 45colt only lasted about 20 rounds before it let loss.
if you dont think this scope will work for me please recommend one. im not trying to shoot at 1000 yards, max is 200yd. i cant afford a leopald so dont! lol thanks
