Has anyone used one of these in their AR?

The new TTU 3G has been out about 8 weeks now. It is currently the Best AR trigger on the market!! Nothing like it. I know of 3 hard core 3-gun shooters who have replaced a JP trigger with the TTU 3G. The 3G is a 3.5lb. break

Fort Mill Gun Store has them in stock and is offering them at a Killer price. I dropped by and checked them out. The have a Wilson Combat trigger tester to check the feel of the trigger. It is very cool.

Interesting to know that some 3 gunners are using it. I really like JP myself and it comes stock in rifles at some places at 4lbs. You can set it for 3.5 with no take-up. I like the adjustability of the JP.
That being said the wilson I'm sure is a great trigger and I was wondering who maybe has used it and can give some insight as to what it's like.

I have two Wilson Combat TTU triggers and they are AS ADVERTISED... GREAT triggers.
Both of mine break like glass at 4 lbs.... measured with two different trigger gauges... no creep and no over travel... none.
Just a very clean break and very fast reset.
I will be getting another in the future... the first one spoiled me.
A real "drop in" bulletproof fine trigger.

Noob alert...I have to ask some basic questions--and I hope they might help others who stumble across this thread and aren't in the know...

In laymen's terms, what will putting this trigger in my AR do for me? Specifically, what difference will I see/feel/experience over the bone stock trigger in my Colt?

Is this an easy upgrade for someone mildly mechanically inclined, but with no special gunsmith tools (beyond typical workbench items like punches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.)?

Does simply adding this trigger make a big difference, or do you have to upgrade a bunch of other items int he gun to get the full benefit of it?

I do shoot 3 gun matches, not so much to win trophies, but to get the practical shooting experience and to have fun.

Super Fast Bulletproof Match-Grade Trigger!! The TTU 3G trigger breaks at 3.5 lbs. A stock trigger breaks at 6.5lbs+

Unit is very simple to install, maybe takes 3 minutes and you are ready to go

Drop this thing in and go, no need to upgrade other components.

The TTU 3G was used in several rifles at a Designated Marksman Rifle Match last Saturday. It make a great 3-gun or sniper trigger.

Most trigger swaps can be done with a very few tools. Typically a punch and maybe a hammer is all thats needed.....especially the drop in triggers like the TTU, Timney, AR Gold. No other parts need to be changed.

As for what to expect, like any gun having a better trigger makes it easier for the shooter to be more accurate as they give a more consistant and lighter trigger pull with limited to no creep and a nice break with no overtravel. Notice I didn't say it will make the gun more accurate  Most also have a very short reset which makes for much easier/faster/more accurate follow up shots.

I run a CMMG 2stage in my rifle which breaks at 4lbs and works great. I'd prefer a single stage as I'm much faster with them, however I needed a trigger that would work with .223, .22lr. and 9mm and the CMMG was the only trigger(upgrade) I could find that would do that outside of a GI Trigger.

Very Well said Sir!! If your finger ever gets on a TTU 3G, you will have to have one.

Happy 4th!

Bought another TTU 3G trigger on Saturday in Fort Mill. The guy has a good deal on them. Installed it in a Varmint/Bull barrel AR-15 and went shooting this morning before it got too hot. For me, It makes a good "sniper" rifle trigger as well as a "run-and-gun" trigger. I will get stocked up on ammo and do some more shooting/testing soon and post the results. I hope to shoot in this gun in the Fall DMR Event.
