Shouldn't sell these.....but I don't get to do SASS anymore.
Here is a matched pair (NOT consecutive serial numbers) of Navy Arms/Uberti SAA reproductions. Both are .45LC, have Bisley grips, and 5-1/2" barrels.
Guns are beautifully engraved. Please see pics.
Purchased these ten or twelve years ago from a fellow Cowboy shooter who purchased them new. Always low-velocity cowboy loads. I only used them a couple times in the High Country Cowboys' Annual Match (special guns for a special event).
They both shoot beautifully, smooth as glass. I suspect that the springs were replaced, both because they are such smooth shooters, better than my stock cattleman revolvers, and because it is evident that the screws have been removed. (Not by me but before I purchased them)
They have bisley grips and wooden handles. Case hardened frames.
They also have some handling marks typical of guns worn at a match and loaded and laid on a loading table. Absolutely nothing major. If you shoot SASS, you know exactly what I'm talking about, little nicks on the grips from a rifle or shotgun butt, etc. Pics are an excellent representation of condition. Notice almost no turn line - these were always showpieces, not shooters. I had other guns for regular monthly matches.
Includes original boxes and paperwork.
You really have to see these guns to appreciate them. Don't know who did the engraving - it isn't noted on the box, so I assume not from the factory, but honestly don't know. They are one of the first guns that I "show off" when a friend comes over.
Ok, i'll do $1200 for the pair. CASH and permit required. Might consider reasonable offers. Meet around Asheville, Buncombe Co., McDowell Co. or thereabouts. Don't think you'll be disappointed with these.
