I was given a 30 cal Carbine, so my wife could have something larger than a 22 for home defense.

I had a few boxes of Wolf, and as expected, it will not function 100%. I have a few boxes of Federal Home Defense, but would like some ball ammo for her to practice. Since I know squat about this caliber, thought I would pick your brains.

Did a bit of scanning, and it looks like Hornady at $30/50 is about the best I can find.

Suggestions?

If anyone has a carbine that will shoot the Wolf, let me know. A deal can be had if your near Hickory.

Go to the Charlotte show this weekend and hunt down some Aguila "30 Carabina" or some Magtech. 20-25 bucks/50 and it runs well
