I'm looking for a slightly older version with the metal trigger parts for a project gun. I'm not overly concerned with the condition of the stock or barrel since they will be replaced anyway. As long as the receiver and trigger group are in good shape, I'm interested.

If you have one or know where I may can acquire one, let me know.

Thanks!

Warren, I've got what you want although it is in fine condition. However, I don't generally sell guns. I like ot trade. I like shotguns. Got any good trade bait?

Hit your local pawn shops. I bought a 10/22 a few years ago for the green laminated stock (someone had obviously traded out stocks since it is a ~1973 model) and ended up making my 'custom' from the trigger assembly and housing. I paid $135 out the door.

I actually tried that this past weekend. I cannot find a single pawn shop in the entire Charlotte area that sells guns. Seems like no one wants to go through the hassle. I remember when I was younger, guns were the biggest draw for pawn shops.
Seems like now it's nothing but used DVD's and contruction tools.

Unfortunately, no. I am just starting to build a little collection of guns. A coupe handguns only so far. My next purchases are a .22 (obviously), a semi-auto 12 gauge, and eventually an AR.

If you change your mind about selling it outright, let me know your price.

Thanks for your time,
Warren

my local pawn and gun emporium takes every 10/22 it gets and puts a butler creek stock and barrel on it and sells them for $325. then they sell the factory parts too. seems like it is a good money maker for them but def not a place to find a cheap 10/22 project.
