You realize the bad mood you're in started about five years ago.

 

First, it was 'Wow, the kids graduating this year were in kindergarten when we graduated.'

Then it was 'The kids graduating this year we're born the year we graduated.'

Now, those kids have their own kids that are graduating this year.

you have more aches and pains than your number of woodies during the day month...

Yep, and it happened in about the space of a year. Do not even consider myself old yet, but a lot of conversations with remaining friends start with "anybody we know died?"
