Your Choice of Shooting Music

I'm curious about the choice of music you guys like to listen to pre or during your range time.

I'm strangely fond of Beethoven's 5th while I'm plinking away.

Or if I'm running a stage I like to pre-game with something heavy like Slipknot.

Thoughts?

Flight of the Valkyries by Wagner from Apocalypse Now
Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi from Wild Hogs
Teenage Waste land by The Who from Forrest Gump

Kinda messed up, but it puts me in the zone. All I can think about is the perfect shot at 100yds. Or if I am with the handgun, the perfect all "A" hits score.

"Salty Dog"

[G] Down in the wildwood sitting on a log
[A] Finger on the trigger and eye on the hog
[D] Honey let me be your Salty Dog.

chorus

[G] Pulled the trigger and they said go
[A] Shot fell over in Mexico
[D] Honey let me be you Salty Dog.

We used to play Godsmack-Voodoo before every raid, it was good to cool you down, the rhythm is very methodical. That and the bad touch by the Bloodhound Gang.

As for shooting though. I love Anna Netrebko, she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen and has a voice that relaxes me completely.

I listen to something like this, going to or at the range. Makes me wanna shoot some stuff lol

Pre range time 60's and 70's classic rock.

While at the range?? Nothing.

I like to hear others around me in case something happens or a cease fire is called and I also like to hear my firearm in case I get a squib or some other weird noise.

Hmmm, can't say I've ever listened to music while shooting. While playing airsoft though, we normally put the CD player in our foxhole blasting out Moonlight Sonata, Rammstein and the likes.
I'd say if it was one of those Enfield/bolt action surplus rifle kind of days, I'd go with this;

Dropkick Murphies is good too, I could see getting pumped to "Kiss me I'm ****faced" before a patrol or something.

I'm fortunate enough that I can drive right up to my shooting bench. I have XM radio and I listen to the Real Jazz station. Turn up the volume on the Howard Leight hearing protectors just enough to hear the music and I'm ready to go.

I can hear you guys snickering...........

I don't listen to music while driving my car, I like to hear the sound of the engine, turbos, exhaust, etc.

I also like the sounds of my guns.

In some way, stupid as it sounds, I like to think I am one with whatever machine / tool I'm operating. I try to become the gun, the bullet....We have a mission and work as one single mind and purpose.

I tend to pick up sounds in my machines / tools that no one else ever hears, and they are all music to me....
