1942 Izzy Mosin round receiver that is matching in excellent condition. All parts that are visible with numbers match including buttplate, bolt, magazine and receiver.

The few areas of wear on the buttplate and magazine appear as if someone attempted using a bluing pen to cover. The material comes off with minimal effort and I am in the process of making sure those few spots are returned to original condition by removing the pseudo blue.

There are some expected nicks and such from storage but those are mostly just flaws in the finish and not actually into the wood.

Multiple stamps on the stock. Sling is included.

Receiver and other metal shows signs of machining so this one appears to be never have been polished in production.

Barrel exterior finish shows some wear from where the bayonet appears to have been fixed in place for some time. Resulted only in some loss of bluing.

I have owned it since November and it has not been fired by me.

There are a few stamps on the metal but none indicating anything special about the rifle other than the standard circle K and some others that appear to be proofs and arsenal marks.

Pics will be available tomorrow or I have a few on my phone that are very basic.

FTF $225 in Winston or local to there....cash preferred but trade offers accepted for just about anything within reason including firearms...ar parts...an sks would be fantastic...revolvers...commie handguns...etc etc just ask you never know what will get my attention.
