I saw that too....I think he looks like him if thats what you wanna see though. Its been an interesting series thus far..I'm enjoying it.

What I found most interesting was how the characters playing Mary and Jesus have to be the most Northern European looking folks in the series. Its as if they dropped outta nowhere into a sea of people showing characteristics and ethnicity more inline with the people who live in and originated from that region.

But I have to say to this "resemblance": WTF? Seriously? I think the proper (polite) word for this is "reaching." I mean, come on. LOTS of people in the world bear superficial resemblance to LOTS of other people, without there being any sinister design in it. I don't think he looks all that much like him.

My take is that these folks are looking for something to cry and moan about. They simply want to criticize this show because it's: 1) about the Bible, 2) well done, and 3) fairly well received. Boo hoo for them. Go find something REAL to complain about, and quit being juvenile.
