So I've had a S&W 15-22 for a while now, but finally decided to step up to the real thing. I originally planned on buying a S&W M&P15 Sport. I decided I could build one just as good if not better for the same price, while having the satisfaction of semi-building it myself.

My goal to build a KISS AR for under $700 with decent parts, and here's what I ended up with:

LRB Arms stripped lower:

PSA LPK, Magpul CTR stock kit, Hogue grip.
All assembled myself thanks to Youtube videos:

PSA 16" CL 4140 Upper (bought it complete) attached to the lower with a CRAP Sight Mark red-dot I already had (waiting to buy a decent red-dot and a BUIS)

I have exactly $725.50 in it. Not bad, I think, for my first AR.

The only thing I dislike about it is the leftover casting flash around the trigger, it's only cosmetic though.

Nice work. I really like that cross cannon logo on the lower. Looks a lot like the Springfield Armory logo... I've never heard of LRB Arms.
