While I'm not a fan of soft material holsters, due to collapse under a belt making it harder to reholster iwb, something like this might work fine for overalls as you aren't wearing a belt.

Anything that I carry in my bibs goes in a sticky holster or a nemesis.

 

Years ago when I was a deputy in a very rural county, several of the local farmers would sew a square of material on the inside behind the chest pocket of the bibs with one side left open to form an inside pocket about chest high. That's where they would carry a small revolver or .25 automatic.

 

Yep. I have a square patch where I keep my LCP in a Nemesis. It gets shifted around to other pockets if it gets uncomfortable.

 

I have a belly band that i sometimes wear with my overhauls or you could go with ankle carry since most overhauls have boot cut legs with plenty of room. The belly band is a lot easier to wash when you get it dirty and sweaty.

I wear overalls all the time. What brand do you wear? I have Libertys mostly. If it's for around the house on the tractor or whatnot, I wear my IWB holster in my big front chest pocket. The back pockets are too big & flimsy.

Here’s the company that makes the pocket holster I carry my S&W 60-9; Alabamaholster.com – Concealment Experts , I wear Roundhouse and Liberty bibs with Liberty having the bigger pockets. Never had the opportunity to wear Pointers, they are for the rich folks!

Forgot to add, the holster is very rigid with positive cover of the hammer and trigger and retains the revolver very well. I’ve wore this holster several years with total confidence of it’s safety.
