Cool :)

Hey, did that hat ever arrive?

Of course it took me so long to mail it, you might have forgotten WHY it arrived...... ;)

Nice website,,but it's out of stock,, and Sarco has the same set up for $399.
Problem with the Sarco site is that it assumes you know what everything is for and looks like.

I assume the $399 set up is the only two I can find, both of which have the wrong upper for what I was going for.... Nice price though. And only the regular 4-pos buttstock is out of stock on colemantaylor I think, if you choose another one it's fine.

Although this one on Sarco is a damn good deal:

AR150

AR15A2 Kit - Flat Top Complete w/detachable carry handle w/A2 rear sight, minus Lower receiver

They just don't go into much detail, so rather than assume I sort of shopped on elsewhere.

I would just buy more SKSs.

PDHSC in S. Raleigh sells DPMS flatops for $700, or did about a year ago when I bought mine.

In fact, I am actually going to have less SKS's before too long, I am selling my Chinese 26 to a friend.

I'm typically in the market for SKSs (anything but Yugo) if you think about getting rid of any more in the future, especially any with shortened barrels, either original like a paratrooper or done yourself. I'm tapped out right now but I usually have something interesting that might be considered for trade.

After I pass on the Chinese I'll be down to two Yugos, both very heavily modified.

One is cut down to 16.5" with a new front sight (made from a Hi-Point carbine sights) in a Tapco, lots of rails, foregrip etc. All very po' mans AK. The other is cut down to 20", scoped and in an ATI Monte Carlo for use on deer (if/when I get round to it, the work was fun even if I never hunt with it).

I've put the 16.5" one in the originals stock (modified to take the Tech Sights rear element and Tapco mags) and it looks really nice, it just doesn't qualify under 922r without me adding a new operating rod. As I love to shoot it in the Tapco, that's money better spent elsewhere.

Here's the pics (both are in the Milsurpstuff rogues gallery)
