So I just got off the phone with bill.

He said thank you soooo much for the offer. Good news is they don't think he's going to need it!

They have a special chair for right now, but think he will be out of it with 2 months!

Thanks again for the generous offer!

That's an awesome gesture!

Let me check with bill. We're hoping he won't be needing a chair for very long. Maybe we could borrow it if needed?
Sure can! Might help when getting out, like going to the store.

I have one he can have, if he doesn't have one already. Can he even use one? Look in the NON gun classified section. It's his free, if it can be used by him, and he don't already have one. Here it is. http://www.carolinashootersclub.com/threads/7684-Power-Wheel-Chair-%28Jet-7%29-for-Trade

You're the man Silver_Bullet. And like gunbelt said.......the wonderful news is that he has come a long way and hopefully won't need it.

I wanted to be another one behind BurnedOutGeek to say thank you and I appreciate your generous offer. You're gonna fit in well here on Carolina Shooters Club with offers to help others when they're down and I'm sure you have already seen what this great group of forum members in the gun community has done for this family.

Man what a great group!

Hey, we can't let children go with out. I don't have a lot, I'm just a regular guy with two children of my own, but I will do what I can for any child! I have to imagine if it was my family. If people pull together in a time of need for somebody, it helps everyone in the long run. What better way to help, than to help our local people in the Carolinas who are in need first.

Yes I was trying to trade it for a firearm, but even someone else child is more important than any firearm that I could ever own or possibly acquire. Personal possessions don't mean anything when it comes to children. As long as we have our needs met, we need to make sure others needs are met if we can help in any way, as long as they are trying to help themselves first.

Nail on head sir.

That is exactly why I made the comments about the members of this gun community. I've seen the forum members from CSF and CSC dig deep to help when opportunities arise that allows them to help or assist for the right reasons. They deserve to be commended as well as you did with your generous offer. I'm aware of what one of those chairs would cost and it was a great offer.

I'll defend the hearts of these forum members to the end.

If this happens, let us know, think he said it needed batteries. We can probably come up with something. Still know a few folks that can get SLA batteries.

Good News!!! Is they don't think he needs it!!!!!!!!!!! Battery for the chair is 75.00 plus shipping online.
Option is still open if he needs the chair, as long as I still have it. It breaks down for storage in a vehicle trunk. The manual chair is good for exercise and rehab that I seen in the pics, but if he has trouble manually wheeling the chair for long distances and wants a little more freedom to go where he wants without asking to be pushed, it's his if anyone changes their mind.
