Like I've said before..NYPD officers aren't the same breed as what we're accustomed to seeing here in the Carolinas. Some of the stuff they do is unimaginable to most here and much of what gets captured on video like this is actually pretty mild.

I still find it crazy when people talk about not going beyond _______ for whatever reason (north/south of MD line, east of Mississippi River etc). Silliness.

Did anyone see the story about the gaston county police taking down a guy after walking up to one asking if he was a good shot(?) then reaching in his pocket. Pulled out a gun as he got tazed.

 

News was just saying that there is a deliberate work slow down up there by NY's finest in protest of the Mayor. General arrest are down 60% from last year and traffic citations are down 90%

 

Murders and calls for service are also down over the same time period as last year. Go figure.

As an aside, why do all these douchebags caught on audio/video sound like bullies from 80's movies? Wait, I think I know the answer actually.

Just another lawsuit pending because of bully behavior. These guys are punks with badges, and their positions allow them undeserved immunity in THEIR court systems.

 

they actually have a city employee now whose job it is to settle lawsuits before they are filed. Maybe this guy was trying to win the lottery?

I think the Hendersonville PD would just look with a blank stare.

I like the H'ville PD a lot compared to Raleigh/Durham and all points north.
