Hello all,

New forum member doing the due diligence by checking in for my one time stop before moving on to the other forums. Primarily here looking for other IDPA members in the Hickory area and better yet a place to shoot outside NOT indoors. It would be nice to have short and long range here in the Hickory area or at least within 20 to 30 minutes. Yes I know about Wilkesboro, and Wautauga, and Mecklenburg. But all are at least an hour from here.

Anyway, onto the other places. Have a nice night all.

Welcome! I'm pretty familiar with Granite Falls / Sawmills but I don't know anyone who doesn't just shoot in the backyard :D

Welcome aboard from Longview. Have you looked into Catawba Valley Wildlife Club? I'm in the process of joining now. They have skeet, wobble trap, sporting clays, archery, pistol, and rifle ranges. They are in Vale. Also, if I can help you with anything holster related feel free to PM me.

+1 for the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club. They have a 300 yd rifle range plus all the others. Its $400 for the first year and $200 every other, the range is just off Hwy 10 and Lynn Mtn rd. I'm hoping to join this year.
