Today was a very interesting range day for me. I'm a diehard Glock fan. Semi Sig fan, BUT today may have been a start of something new. Before today my sigs were my guns that I have considered good shooting but really liked the looks more than anything. Today I shot my p226 extreme that has been sitting in the safe new unfired for about 3 or 4 months. All I can say is that is the best shooting handgun I have EVER SHOT!

Any Sig fans out there can tell me what if anything I can do to my other p series triggers the same, please share.

Put the SRT triggers in your other Sigs and you will be set, I carry a G19 and compete with a G17 and I shoot them both pretty well but the SRT trigger in my M11-A1 makes it one of the best shooting guns I have ever owned, I don't have any plans on moving to Sigs for anything other than range toys but once I get holsters made I will be doing some drills on the clock to see how I perform with the M11, the single action pull and reset are nothing short of amazing to me but the double action first shot leaves a lot to be desired imo.

I've always gotten a semi for SIGs, as well. If I am just casually target shooting I shoot a SIG better than about anything else. Unfortunately, in a competition setting, the DA-SA transition is too much for me to overcome when shooting against striker-fired pistols. That is why I have settled on Glock for comps. I would like to try one of those P220 or P226 single-action-only pistols, I bet that would be a phenomenal shooting pistol.

I like SIG, a lot. I, too, favor the SRT. The p239 is one of the best handguns I have ever, ever had/shot, both in 9mm and .40. All that said. now I am strictly Glock for the consistency of manual of arms. Do I miss SIG? Eh, maybe.

I spent many, many range hours and mucho brass trying to become a Glock fan across several models and calibers, including working with some great instructors who focus on that brand as both a duty and EDC gun. Because no doubt, they are phenomenal and reliable weapons.....for the right person.
It turns out that no amount of trick sights or kydex holsters was gonna help me grow out my tiny baby chubby fingered mitts. :)

Too me, again, just for me, how I point shoot without taking the time to properly align sight picture and settle into a good grip is far and away the most important factor.
I happened to switch to a Sig938 as an EDC gun....improved my follow up shots , accuracy out to 15-20 yards, and desire to practice as well. Many variables involved in that change; but I still shoot far better with the Sig than any other similarly sized 1911 platform.

FINALLY....to your question... its taken any sig Ive had, or that others have had that I know of, a good 300 rounds for the trigger to settle down. Maybe shoot it a bunch. and see if that helps?

If you don't have the time....I'd be glad to do it for ya....;)

I only have these moments when swapping from semi's(any) to revolvers (S&W).
After shooting the Smith's, I ask myself..why don't I shoot these more often?
If they made one that held just 10 large rounds, I'd never carry a semi again.
