check out k-var or houge's over molded upper and lower hand gurads

 

Get one that has the metal heat shield on the lower hand guard. (K-Var has them). If you look around you can find them cheaper on the Equipment Exchange Forums like on AR15.com and whatnot.

why not just go with the intrafuse handguards? they would match your buttstock and they have a heatshield.

Several years ago I put one of the Tapco brick looking forearms on a wasr-10 and it really screwed up the already crappy accuracy.

^ What he said. Heat shield if your going to do some fast firing. Just remember ones that lock onto the barrel can mess up barrel harmonics and decrease accuracy in some of your better AK's. Shouldn't make much of a difference in a WASR though LOL.

 

i really like wood, but it hard to beat a K-var set.

 

I like the tapco lower with a afg.
